All world cuisines have a dessert cuisine in their traditions, and the Greek is no exception. Everything from Baklava, Kadaifi, Loukoumi and Halvas to biscuits, candies and chocolate. Common to most Greek desserts is that they are typically made with ingredients that are widely available in Greece. This can be, for example, nuts, dried fruit and honey. Many of them are held together by some form of dough, often phyllo dough, or other dough that can be deep-fried. Try, for example, JOTIS instant Loukoumades, which is a dough mixture that just needs to be added to a little water and then fried in plenty of oil. Enjoy them with chocolate, honey or cinnamon and easily taste the Greek traditions at home in your own kitchen.

If you are more into something that is ready to eat straight away, we can recommend the delicious Greek Kadaifi, which is a delicious Greek cake made from phyllo dough, which often contains nuts such as walnuts or pistachios, and is subsequently bathed in syrup. Traditionally, they are served with ice cream. The only thing you need is a good cup of hot Greek coffee. Bon appetite!
