This full-bodied red wine is made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes, grown under the strict supervision of FILIOMA's specialist winemakers. In cooperation with the local producers in Nemea, they have certified few, very specific vineyards to grow the grapes for this fantastic red wine!
The FILIOMA wines are produced at the very well-known vineyard MALAMATINA, which is world-renowned for its retsina! These wines are not retsina, but you can still expect the same towering standard that has made their retsina so immensely popular around the world!
The FILIOMA red wine has round tannins, aromas of red fruits, full body and clear color as well as a pleasant, soft aftertaste.
The wine is well suited to the heavier dishes such as beef steaks, root vegetables, stews or spicy food. Here it enters and plays along with the melody, as well as adding a wonderful sweetness that balances the symphony in the most beautiful way!
FILIOMA red is PGI certified in Nemea Peloponnisos and has an alcohol content of 12.5%.
