Tsipouro, the well-known Cretan Raki, originally comes from Turkey, where it is primarily found in a version with anise added, but it should not be confused with the Greek Ouzo.
This version of the Tsipouro is without anise and has a slightly sweet and strong taste - just like a Raki should be.
Serve ice cold after a good dinner.
