Pithari B

Pithari is a distinctive large Greek jar originally used for storing winter provisions, wine, olives and olive oil. Nowadays, there are the classic jars mostly used for decorative purposes. You see them in many places on the Greek islands, where they are painted in the typical Greek blue color that reflects both the color of the sea and the sky. Pithari is a bit pompous in its expression and only becomes even more elegant with large, beautiful olive wood in it.

The jar is frost-proof and can be left outside all year round.

This Pithari measures 90 cm in height and 65 cm in diameter.
