Paranga Sparkling Demisec 750ml

The delicious Paranga sparkling demi sec is a finer counterpoint to the popular prosecco wines. The wine is made from a mix of the blue Xinomavro grape, Malvasia grapes and second pressing of the Chardonnay grape. The wine is produced by the popular winemaker Kir-Yianni, who takes advantage of the fantastic climate and soil of Lake Vegoritis in the Greek part of Macedonia.

Unlike prosseco which is aged for a few weeks, Kir-Yianni lets their Paranga sparkling wine develop in hermetically sealed steel tanks for a full 5 months. This love for detail gives the wine a round and aromatic expression, with a lively, bubbly mousse. The wine's characteristics are roses, green apples, apple blossoms, citrus, apricots and white peaches. It is light, semi-dry and mouth-watering with an almost creamy sensation in the mouth. The alcohol percentage is 11.5%. It is excellent as an aperitif, for desserts with tropical fruits or for light dishes such as charcuterie, vegetarian dishes or sushi. Bon appetite!
